Hi! I am Lee Eschen, a Valley resident since 1991 and former co-owner of Understandable Computing.

I came to the Illinois Valley seeking a simpler way of life than I knew in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. I found it and more in this beautiful rural area. What a gorgeous place to live and work and play.

I have worked with computers for most of my adult life, and I am currently designing websites under the banner of Ashgrove Visual Arts. I have, therefore, volunteered to design and manage a website for the Blackberry Festival Comittee. You are looking at the results.

Since I have enjoyed photography as a primary hobby for over 40 years, I have also found myself documenting the festival events for the last two years, and presenting those photos on the website. I hope that you have enjoyed, and will continue to enjoy, my contributions to the Illinois Valley Wild Blackberry Festival, and will perhaps join the committee in planning and presenting this year's Festival.
